Whilst it was great for most of our users and helped to group similiar games from different locations around the web whilst surfing them, some websites mistook the toolbar for hotlinking, which meant some game links on TGL stopped working - no good for anyone! We also decided that whilst we liked the features it offered gamers, it also unfortunately masked the originating URL which seemed a shame. TGL is all about transparency and the sharing of great links, great games and great game sites, so in the end the good old fashioned straight forward link model was decided to be the best way forward! The website linked to gets to be experienced in the way it was intended, our users can then browse and bookmark from that site without hinderance, and every link on TGL remains clear and transparent!
